Fine Tubes finalist in West of England Business Award

Fine Tubes Ltd. in Plymouth made it into the final of the West Country’s most prestigious business awards.

Organised by accountancy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, the awards recognise companies across the region in two different categories; those businesses with a turnover of £25 million or more, or more than 100 employees and those with a turnover less than £25 million or less than 100 employees.

The independent panel of judges includes some of the South West’s leading business experts. Some of the criteria that the competing companies are judged in are financial performance, product or service innovation, business management, future prospects, investment in staff and the company’s contribution to the region.

Rob Lewis, Chairman for the West region said: “It is a tribute to the quality of the businesses in the West region that we received so many outstanding entries for this year’s competition. The number of fantastic nominations emphasises the high regard in which the awards are held by the region’s business community, attracting not only leading regional firms but also companies with national and international reputations for excellence. We should all be proud of the number of excellent businesses in our region, and their ability to stay ahead in the current climate should be celebrated.”

Now in its 22nd year, the Awards ceremony was held on June, 24th in Bristol.
