Our specially manufactured instrumentation tubes are used in condensers, flow meters, measurement systems, hydraulic systems, shell and tube heat exchangers, and more. You’ll find them deployed in various industrial applications including acetic acid plants and pulp and paper production.
All our tubes are supplied to the highest integrity specifications. This means that Fine Tubes products outperform typical BS / ASTM / ASME / TüV standards by far. Our high performance tubes ensure maximum operating efficiency with total product reliability in ever more hostile operating environments.
Being both a welded and seamless tube manufacturer we are in the unique position to offer our customers complete flexibility - you can choose seamless, welded and redrawn (seam free) and welded or welded bead-reduced tubing products. Seamless and welded tubes can be ordered in coils or cut to straight lengths.

Flexibility in processing
Fine Tubes holds a unique position in that we offer a full range of products from the most cost-effective direct welded stainless steel solutions, right up to seamless tubing that can be made using an extensive range of alloys.
All our welded tubes can be cold redrawn or bead reduced to improve weld homogenization and further enhance the mechanical and corrosion performance.
Our welded tubes are 100% eddy-current tested during the welding process and additionally 100% re-tested when redrawn to the final size required. All seamless tubes are also 100% eddy-current tested.
Surface finish and electropolishing
Much of our range of redrawn seamless tubes can be offered with defined ID surface finishes down to Ra 0.40 μm (16 CLA).
All our tubing products can also be electropolished internally to further improve the surface and enhance corrosion resistance and cleanability.
Process and quality control is critical and Fine Tubes consistently achieves the highest standards for all applications. Strict quality controls are applied at every stage of the processing operation. We have BS EN ISO 9001 and BS EN ISO 14001 approvals. Fine Tubes can supply to AD2000 Merkblatt W0/TRD100, 97/23/EC (PED) - TüV, NACE MR-0175.
Fine Tubes has Nadcap approvals for our most critical operations, such as Nadcap (Heat Treatment) reaccredited at Merit Status by PRI and Nadcap (NDT) reaccredited at Merit Status by PRI.
Our tubing product supply is based upon a system which meets the requirements of ASME Section III NCA 3800 for class 1 seamless instrumentation tube. This is independently audited as meeting the requirements of CSA N285.0 and Z299.2 Category 2 QA Program.
Our integrated QA system means we can offer full integrity and traceability on all our products.
