Here at Fine Tubes the promotion of safety and health measures is a prime objective of both management and employees, at all levels within the company.
Our policy is to do everything possible to prevent personal injury and ill health, protecting both our staff and the public from the hazards that our work involves. This goes beyond the gates of our tube mill, and covers all the ways in which people come into contact with Fine Tubes and our products.

Fine Tubes Ltd is committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all its employees, visitors and any other people who may be affected by our activities.
As a company we recognise our responsibility to ensure that all reasonable precautions are taken to provide and maintain working conditions which are safe, healthy and compliant with all statutory requirements and codes of practice.
All managers undergo Leadership in Safety training to increase behavioural safety within in the company. In addition to establishing safer working procedures, the correct behaviour of staff at work is a key element in health and safety management. It’s critical in reducing the number of accidents.
We develop and maintain policies that comply with all legislation, regulations and other requirements relevant to our business.
We provide adequate resources so that in all our activities, working practices and business relationships, we protect and enhance all aspects of health and safety.
Our priorities and objectives are based on risk assessments which identify significant hazards. In response we develop risk control measures, identify training needs, and improve our priorities and objectives.
We regularly and actively review our health and safety management system to ensure that it is performing robustly. Additional audits are also carried out to ensure that our control measures are achieving the desired results.
We ensure that in all our activities, a culture of continuous improvement is fostered and maintained.
